Aegis Software to Participate in Business Software Event 2015 in the Netherlands on December 1st

Aegis Software will promote the latest version of their market leading software FactoryLogix at Business Software Event in Den Bosch, The Netherlands on December 1st, showing its ability to enable an Industry 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing solution across the entire enterprise. With this release of FactoryLogix, Aegis brings together all the added value resulting from Aegis’s acquisition of diplan, the FactoryLogix software solution and the application of Industry 4.0 principles.

The latest version brings an entirely new logistics module, based around the tried and tested technology of all the other FactoryLogix modules, and replacing the leading solution previously provided within the diplan software suite.  Features of the module include: materials receiving and labeling; incoming quality control; material kitting and dispatch; material position tracking; MSD handling and bake management; resource scheduling; material reservation; shop floor materials handling and traceability; part replenishment and reorder. Several parts of the module are entirely new and leverage the capability and experience of diplan developed in this area over more than twenty years.
