Aegis Delivers a Real Industry 4.0 Solution at Productronica with the Release of FactoryLogix
Aegis will unveil the latest version of their market leading manufacturing operations management software, FactoryLogix at Productronica booth A3.210 from November 10th to 13th in Munich, Germany. The new release embraces the principles of Industry 4.0 and Aegis has chosen Productronica as the first public demonstration.
The new version incorporates an entirely re-designed Logistics module based on the same technology framework as the NPI, Production and Analytics modules found in FactoryLogix, replacing the solution’s previous integration with the diplan software suite.
Two years ago at Productronica, Industry 4.0 was concepts, ideas and marketing talk. Now we think it’s time to deliver and we believe that this version of the software does that and more.
New and enhanced features in FactoryLogix R3 include:
- materials receiving, processing and labeling;
- incoming quality control (IQC);
- stockroom management;
- material kitting and dispatch;
- material position tracking;
- moisture sensitive device (MSD) handling and bake management;
- production planning;
- resource scheduling;
- material reservation;
- shop floor material handling;
- workstation material setup validation;
- offline material setup;
- material traceability;
- material level monitoring;
- part replenishment and re-order.

This year Aegis’ booth will feature a simulated manufacturing environment, taking visitors through the user experience in each area of the factory, from engineering, to the stockroom, onto the production floor, and into the manager’s office.
