Last week, Aegis Software was honored to provide financial support to the Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s 252nd Quartermaster Company for their inaugural holiday party. The unit’s soldiers gathered in Southampton, PA, to celebrate another year of service to their community and country.

The 252nd Quartermaster Company is one of several new units of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard that was activated this past September. Guard soldiers respond to domestic emergencies, overseas combat missions, counterdrug efforts, and reconstruction missions, and many hold civilian jobs while continuing their military training part time.

Knowing that I have the backing of a supportive employer has made it easier to serve in the National Guard.

Aegis Software is proud to support employees’ service in the US National Guard and Reserve throughout the year. Sergeant First Class Matt Conway is also Applications Manager for the Americas, based at the company’s headquarters in Horsham, PA.

Conway says, “Knowing that I have the backing of a supportive employer has made it easier to serve in the National Guard. Aegis has been understanding when my Guard responsibilities and training encroaches on the more traditional work week. Having Aegis support the 252nd during the holiday season means a lot.”
